Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 4, 2026

Recall (“we”, “us”) built the Recall app to help you create, study, and share flashcards. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your name and email address. We also store the decks, cards, and study sessions you create, along with usage data such as streak counts and study goals, to power spaced-repetition features.

How we use your data

We use your data to operate the app, personalize your study schedule, display your progress, and allow you to share decks publicly if you choose to. We do not sell your personal information.

User-generated content

Public decks you publish may be viewed by other users. You are responsible for the content you publish and must not share unlawful, offensive, or infringing material. We may remove content that violates our guidelines.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your decks, cards, study sessions, and profile settings.

Third-party services

We use AI providers to help generate flashcard content from your prompts, and standard analytics to improve the app. These providers may process data you submit in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us through the support information provided in the App Store listing.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
